Tunas Group Celebrates Independence Day Through Tunas Games 2026

BATAM, AUGUST 15, 2026 – Embodying the spirit of unity and collaboration, Tunas Group successfully hosted its annual sports and cultural celebration, Tunas Games 2026, themed “Tunas Hebat Indonesia Berdaulat” (Great Tunas, Sovereign Indonesia). Held in celebration of Indonesia’s 81st Independence Day, the event brought together the Tunas Group family, tenants, and business partners operating within Tunas Industrial Estate through a week-long series of sports competitions and festive activities.

The event officially kicked off with the Opening Ceremony on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Ikan Daun Sports Arena. The ceremony was marked by a symbolic inaugural kick by Tunas Group Management Representative, Mrs. Leviana, officially launching a week of competitive matches in Futsal and Mixed Doubles Badminton leading up to the grand finale.

“Tunas Games 2026 is more than just a competitive sporting event. It is a meaningful opportunity for all of us to connect, strengthen relationships across business units, and foster closer collaboration with our tenant partners. Through this spirit of togetherness, we can continue to grow and move forward as one,” said Mrs. Leviana.

Throughout the week, dozens of teams representing Tunas Group and tenant companies competed with great sportsmanship and enthusiasm. The following teams emerged as winners of Tunas Games 2026:

The celebration culminated on Saturday morning, August 15, 2026, at Cincai Café, where hundreds of participants gathered in festive red and white attire. The atmosphere was filled with cheers and laughter as participants took part in traditional Independence Day games, including nail-in-a-bottle, cracker-eating, and tug-of-war competitions.

The festive atmosphere continued with Tunas Got Talent, where participants showcased their creativity and talents on the main stage. Live music and interactive entertainment added to the excitement before the event concluded with the official Tunas Games 2026 victory and awards ceremony.
